Prokinetics 
Alimentz® allows for your stomach acid to properly digest food so that the bolus can enter the small intestines. This action prepares for absorption of the nutrients in your food. Unlike prokinetics Alimentz® won’t cause malnutrition due to incomplete digestion.

Prokinetics helps make the stomach empty faster. This group includes bethanechol (Urecholine) and metoclopramide (Reglan). Prokinetics have frequent side effects that limit their usefulness—fatigue, sleepiness, depression, anxiety, and problems with physical movement.
